Happy Independence Day! Thanks to our ancestors who created this amazing country. Thanks to all those who still sacrifice every day to protect our precious freedom.
This allows artists, among others, to express themselves with great abandon. We can create huge monuments or tiny intricate works in miniature.
Shrines come in all shapes and sizes, reflecting the artist and inspiration for the creation.
They can be sacred or a bit eerie, beautiful or awesome.
Shrines are a personal manifestation of a belief, which is why I find them fascinating.
To keep myself on track I hope to keep a record of my creative process.
It should be fun!
